Our holiday tradition on the water since 2010. Over a million lights, hot chocolate, live performances, and for 2026 the synchronized light show is back.

Our story

It started in an old boat repair shop in 1993.

Four Austin couples opened Mozart's on the shore of Lake Austin with a simple idea: roast the coffee right where you serve it, and bake everything that goes with it.

Before you come

Do you take reservations?
No. We're a café, not a restaurant: order at the counter, then take any seat inside or on the deck. Every table is first come, first served. For a group, book one of our private spaces.
Where do I park?
We have a lot on site, and it fills up on weekend afternoons and evenings. When it's full, use the overflow lot across Lake Austin Blvd and cross at the light. Parking and directions.
Do you have gluten-free and vegan options?
Yes. Look for GF, DF and V on the menu: crustless quiches, the Turtle Cheesecake and Coconut Macaroon are gluten-free, and the Chocolate Chunk cookie and samosas are vegan. If you have an allergy, please tell the team when you order.
Can I bring my own food or drink?
Please don't. Outside food and drink aren't allowed.
Is Mozart's wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The entrance, parking, restroom and seating are wheelchair accessible. Call us at (512) 477-2900 if you'd like help planning your visit.
Do you ship coffee?
Yes. Order online and your bags usually arrive in 5 to 8 business days. The 3 lb and 5 lb subscriptions ship free.
